Hillcrest Rotary's 'A Taste of Hillcrest' fundraiser draws more than 700 to Mayfield Heights' Landerhaven

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio -- For the 15th straight year the Rotary Club of Hillcrest - Sunrise held its signature event, one which combines great food with helping those in need.

"A Taste of Hillcrest," sponsored by Hillcrest Hospital, was held Thursday evening at Landerhaven and featured 22 area restaurants handing out samples of their food to 724 attendees. Those attendees paid $35 each, or $30 if they were in a group of at least 10 people, to take part.

Although final totals are not yet counted, each year A Taste of Hillcrest raises $20,000-$25,000 for the Rotary Club's favorite charities, which include the Hillcrest YMCALove ClevelandAchievement Centers for Children, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
