ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- If you can't bear to miss a minute of gorgeous summer weather, you're likely one of those folks who opts to dine outside when the opportunity presents itself.

Burntwood Tavern, 19304 Detroit Road: The covered patio seats from 50 to 60 and features live music on Thursdays and Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m. It has a fireplace and when the weather turns cold, the patio can be converted for year-round use, according to Ian Hopkins, regional managing partner. The custom decor is by Christian Kalinyak. As a nod to summer, Burntwood is offering 15 percent off the bill for anyone who rides his or her bike to the restaurant on Wednesdays.
